‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Meet Mona’s mom!
What is like to raise Mona Vanderwaal? That is a question that many “Pretty Little Liars” fans have wondered at some point. She is a schemer, a known and proven horrible person, and is capable of doing very dangerous and even deadly things.
Well, we are going to be finally getting a chance a little later this season to meet the woman responsible for trying to take care of a young woman who can barely take care of herself. According to a new report coming in now from Deadline, veteran soap star Syndny Penny (“Days of Our Lives,” “All My Children,” “The Bold and the Beautiful”) is going to play Leona Vanderwaal … but there is not a whole lot of other information given.
What may be the most interesting aspect of this news to us is strictly how this character ends up becoming involved in the sphere of the show in the first place. Mona is not a point-of-view character, so there has been no reason to have to meet her mom or any of her family until now. This is what has led us to jot down what could at least be a few possibilities for this for the time being.
- Maybe there is an episode coming up that is told more from Mona’s point of view.
- It is always possible that Mona ends up getting in trouble at school, and this is some sort of counseling session.
- Maybe the reason that Mona is so evil is because her mom is too, and she is also somehow involved in the operation.
