‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: Joe Manganiello on Alcide’s situation

Finally -When you look at the Alcide storyline coming up on “True Blood” season 7, it may be best defined as being a genuine case of good news and bad news for him. What’s the good news? Think simply along the lines of the fact that he will be starting things off with the life that he presumably has always wanted. The bad news? We’ve come to learn from this show already that this hardly ever stays the same. The show likes to turn things around on a dime, and there is little reason to believe they will do anything different here.

The man behind this role in Joe Manganiello recent spoke about the story ahead for his character to TVLine, and specifically laid out what the course of his character’s story arc could very well be:

“He is domesticated [and] living in society … He isn’t the wild crazy wolf-guy anymore. [Sookie and Alcide] go to church on Sundays. He has to wear a blazer. He lives in gran’s house. He’s got a to-do list for the house. It’s different life for him. But it is what he has always wanted. He finally got the girl and he got the life. Now the only problem is that there are these marauding Hep-V pyscho vampires destroying the world. There’s gotta be something.”

Admittedly, we will be very surprised if Alcide’s story does eventually end with him and Sookie being together. Then again, we have definitely seen much crazier things happen on this show.
