ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 finale: See Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic in first photo

At some point during the “Castle” season 6 finale, you will see something related to the Castle – Beckett wedding; however, you are not going to see that in one of the first photos from “For Better or Worse,” the episode of the show airing a week from Monday.

Instead, this image keeps the attention firmly on Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters, likely prior to the big day happening. Early scoop on this episode suggests that it will be a different finale than in years past, and thanks to that focus on some different things. There is the possibility, after all, of a truly happy conclusion, and not one where you’re left on some devastating cliffhanger (or so we hope) like you’ve seen in the past.

For those wondering, there will be a wedding dress featured in the episode … but according to the latest TV Guide, it is not going to be the same one that you saw in “Dressed to Kill” earlier this season. Most people will probably celebrate this. That dress was not the most popular one in the world for most fans, and just writing it like this is one of the biggest understatements out there. (We actually didn’t mind it.)

But will the wedding actually happen in the episode? There is so much evidence out there now that it will, but we still are firmly in the “we’ll believe it when we see it” camp. Let’s be honest here: There have been times before where we have been tricked be expectations when it comes to this show. The only things confirmed is that a wedding will be on the table, and Eddie McClintock is going to return as a guy for Beckett’s past.
