‘Big Brother Canada 2’ review: Who was evicted; the Head of Household competition

Adel -Thursday’s “Big Brother Canada 2” was full of surprises … at least if you count the footage of Arlie without his clothes on in the jury house. Until the final minutes of the episode, there was nothing all that surprising about the episode.

First of all, Rachelle was evicted, and she was at least right in admitting one thing: There were few arguments that she could make to stay. All that she really had to go on was the sole fact that she was a better person to go to the end with than Sabrina, since nobody would vote for her to win at that point.

The next Head of Household was determined in what was a pretty simply battle of weaving your way through a series of ropes. It looked more like a “Survivor” challenge than anything else, and a few seconds into it, it was pretty clear that this wasn’t going to be something that was resolved in the episode. It wasn’t necessarily endurance, but it may as well have been the next closest thing. Personally, we feel like Jon will win this if he really wants it, and it certainly isn’t going to benefit Sabrina, who there was talk about throwing the competition to so that she could take out the others for Adel. (At the end of the show, Jon and Heather were far ahead of the others.)

All in all, we had the most fun tonight watching the jury house, which isn’t much of a surprise given that this is the part of the show that we do traditionally enjoy the most. There’s no more paranoia, and you can just watch goofy people have fun there. More of this please, and less retrospectives about things we’ve already seen! Grade: B-.
