‘Bates Motel’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Norman’s capture, more in ‘The Box’

Bates Motel -It may have only seemed like yesterday that “Bates Motel” started up its second season, but there is a good reason for that: It practically was just yesterday when it happened. You only have ten episodes in a season of the show, and these have a tendency to move extremely quickly.

With that, we move into the new episode airing next week entitled “The Box” that is a pivotal one not only when it comes to figuring out whether or not Norman Bates is a guilty party … but also whether or not he is even going to be safe. Norma does have a significant reason to worry in this story, but she’s also not the only one who should be feeling that way. Romero is going to be desperate, and Dylan could be placed in yet another life-or-death situation. The more than he does this, the more Dylan is going to become this show’s version of the guy from “Game of Thrones” who has died countless times over.

If all of this information is not enough for you, check out both the synopsis and the promo for “The Box” below courtesy of SpoilerTV:

Norma is desperate to connect with Norman; Dylan must decide if he should risk his life to save a loved one; Romero hopes a former colleague can help him determine Norman’s involvement in a crime.”

Overall, the general consensus here is that we do have quite a bit to look forward to in these last two episodes, and we’re going to be going more all-out than ever in teasing what the end for “Bates Motel” could bring. There will be more surprises, and you have to think there will be a cliffhanger. The producers had to assume that a season 3 was coming.
