‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Miss Howard’s mother?

We don’t know how much time you spend thinking about Howard’s mother while watching “The Big Bang Theory,” but we could understand why some of you out there could see there being a bit of a hole for the character. For example, who is taking care of her now that Howard has moved out? You can’t expect him to shuffle between her and Bernadette on a daily basis.

Luckily, we now have an answer for you. According to E! News, the show is going to introduce in the 23rd episode of the season a character named Marta, who is given the unfortunate task of caring for Howard’s mother. While it hasn’t been revealed if this is someone who has known her forever or only for the past year or so, she is going to have an important role when it comes to allowing us to get to know more about the unseen-character.

With all this being said, we hope that the show continues to be coy when it comes to not showing us much of the mother. This has been one of those funny little sitcom games, since everyone probably has their own vision of what she looks like. Yes, we are well aware for the fact that she was present as the camera zoomed out during the Howard / Bernadette wedding, but it was such a long shot that you really couldn’t tell what she looked like. So let’s keep the whimsy alive; since this is at times a whimsical show, we don’t really think of it as a big deal.
