‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 19 video: A grisly Mark Harmon – Scott Bakula scene
The backdoor pilot for “NCIS: New Orleans” has so far been a pleasant journey down to New Orleans, and the new episode Tuesday night will serve the purpose of trying to figure out if it stays that way. Hopefully, they can at least stick the landing better than another CBS show in “How I Met Your Mother.” (We promise that we’ll be a little less bitter about that in a few days or so.)
At least everything in the “NCIS” sneak peek below suggests that “Crescent City: Part II” is going to be pretty awesome. The scene features Agent Pride (Scott Bakula) and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) investigating a new crime scene that can definitely be described as “nasty” first and foremost. You have a body that has obviously been through the wringer, and is barely even identifiable anymore. This may be tied to the current investigation … or at least you would hope so, given that we are still spending time with it.
What has worked so far very well for the prospective spin-off is that it has spent a great deal of time making sure that they have the entire essence of the Big Easy just about right, and that is something that you have to be pretty happy with. The one thing that we are a little bit worried about, though? Some of the New Orleans accents could be a little overkill depending on how they are presented if this show is actually picked up to series.
What do you think about this preview, and does it make you more excited than ever to see how this journey in New Orleans is going to end? I love the orig. ncis. Didn’t care for ncis, la either but it does grow on you after awhile. I think ncis, nola will be a big hit with the cast that Mark Harmon picked for the main characters. I love the background music and the landmarks they are using. With Mark Harmon as Ex. Producer and Glasberg as show runner it should be a go. I look forward to it.

I think this is shaping up to be an excellent series – hope it gets picked up. Scott Bakula is a consumate actor and it’s time he was back on regular TV

I actually like the southern accents, it might seem overkill but I think thats just a response to the mainstream usually being “northern” there are people who speak like that, millions infact and I think Scott pulls it off very well, if there is going to be a spin off Id watch it.
For those who think this is a bad idea, I agree NCIS: Red was a fail. But I hated NCIS: LA in the beginning but after a while of watching I started to enjoy it, Dont judge it before you’ve seen it and lets face it the pilot for the first NCIS was awesome and worked really well apart from the fact that it seemed like tobias and gibbs didn’t know each other at all hah, LA’s pilot was kind of crappy but it got better I think this can work too.
Now as for the cast, I absolutely Love Scott as an actor he really is “old school” when it comes to acting and he has a very wide resume when it comes to what he can do just like harmon :) . I am actually looking forward to it to be honest.
so yeah heres hoping it all works out :D

I have watched ncis the original from the very beginning. I loveeee this show. I hated LA at first but now they are tied. Love both shows and actors/actresses. Very talented group! … New Orleans has all for my attention. Love the cast and think when Harmon is gone (very sad day) he will be a good reminder bc they’re so similar and familiar! Excited!

same for me :)
Yeah agreed when harmon leaves it will be indeed a very sad day and knowing me considering I only watch NCIS, Agents of shield and Game of Thrones I will likely cry haha
