‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ starts filming with Kate Gosselin, Brandi Glanville, more

There are few series on TV more ridiculous (or more entertaining at times) than “The Celebrity Apprentice.” While we understand that Donald Trump is not in any way likable or endearing, he makes this glorious trainwreck every year. We would have been both incredibly depressed and disheartened if for whatever reason the show didn’t come back for another season this year.

Well, it’s at least filming now! We’re not going to disclose anything outside of the cast, mostly because we think that ruining the greatness that is this show would be a complete travesty. But the likes of Kate Gosselin, Brandi Glanville, Kenya Moore, and others were spotted in New York City filming their first task this week. The one thing that you probably can be aware of is that this first task is probably pretty similar to ones of past seasons, largely because this show almost refuses to change anything about itself from year to year other than the celebrities who decide to compete. While the ratings are not often great for the show, doing it seems to be a win-win for almost everyone else. For the stars, there are opportunities that do tend to follow this show, whether it be Joan Rivers getting “Fashion Police,” Piers Morgan getting his CNN show (even if it is now ending), or Arsenio Hall landing his dream of a new late-night talk show. The success rate after the fact is seemingly higher than most other celebrity shows. It’s also a chance for companies to have effective in-show advertising that does not annoy consumers at all, and for Donald Trump to find more ways to put his name on stuff.
