‘American Idol’ notes: David Archuleta returns; Adam Lambert – Queen tour dates

It has been a little while since we have unleashed a version of “American Idol” notes, but given what we have to talk about this time around, this was the time to bring it back, starting with the big news surrounding David Archuleta.

He’s back! We remember writing about two years ago about his departure to South America for his Mormon mission, but he has now flown back to the United States and is seemingly ready to begin the next phase of his career. As for how the mission changed him and what his plans are moving forward, that remains to be seen. What we can say for now is that he seems very happy to be home, and very happy to have an opportunity to be around loved ones again. Hopefully, this will lead to some new music once he gets a little more accustomed to his surroundings again.

New Adam Lambert + Queen tour dates – For all of you Adam fans hoping to catch him rocking out this summer with the legendary band, there are more opportunities to do so! Some additional dates have been added to the tour, including a stop in Boston, Toronto, and a pair in New Jersey.
