‘Mr. Selfridge’ season 2 finale spoilers: What to expect from Jeremy Piven, cast
Before you get to watching this big episode, though, allow us to give a little more insight into what is happening. There is a holiday coming up, a dinner, and also chances at interesting new opportunities for these characters. Just take a look at the synopsis below:
“Harry is desperate to clear his name in time for Thanksgiving, but things get worse instead of better for the retail magnate when Rose brings him bad news. Meanwhile, an `amicably rowdy’ dinner takes place at the Selfridge house with all the family and new houseguest Lady Mae, and there is a promise of exciting new horizons for Victor, Agnes and Henri.”
Like with many other period dramas, and perhaps even more so than another British series in “Downton Abbey,” the challenge for “Mr. Selfridge” week in and week out is being able to maintain the vast majority of the historical events while also presenting a great story that stays enthralling from start to finish. Luckily, the show has been able to pull that off so far, but as the series goes on and on, that is going to be even harder to do.
This will be the last episode of the series for months upon months, but fans in America are going to get an opportunity to watch this show anew when it premieres on PBS next week.

Fast and furious closures of romantic relationships; other relationships; reputation attacks and sad news of death…all of this in an hour and a half – YET still entertaining. I do not see how another season could possibly occur…new characters would have to be introduced for the roaring twenties.
