‘The Bachelor’ finale: Emily Maynard, Catherine Giudici, more alum react to craziness

The Bachelor -We still cannot fully get over what we saw during “The Bachelor” finale Monday night, mostly because it was such a bizarre, awkward, and at times contentious fiasco of three hours that was marred largely by Juan Pablo Galavis refusing to really do anything in the best interest of the show. We understand wanting to keep some things private, but showing next to no gratitude to the show or the fans who kept you on the air? That’s something both completely different and completely insane.

Well, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite reactions to the show’s bizarre ending from some notable past contestants, and also some of the producers who had to ensure this mess to go along with it.

Catherine Giudici (now known for course as Catherine Lowe) – “The fact JP didn’t propose is so far down on the list of why this season ended so horribly. #TheBachelor

J.P. Rosenbaum – “I didn’t know It was possible to fall deeper in love with @chrisbharrison

Emily Maynard – “Oh man this is weird. I feel uncomfortable. #TheBachelor

Arie Luyendyk Jr. – “RT if you think @SeanLowe09 was 100 times the bachelor Juan Pablo was”

Clare Crawley – “It takes a strong man to love a strong woman”

Also, Chris Siegfried shared the picture below of him, Brooks Forester, and Michael Garofola reenacting the final interview with Chris Harrison, Juan Pablo, and Nikki Ferrell. It’s pretty darn perfect, if you ask us. (Also, cool socks.) Chris was there of course with his fiancee Desiree Hartsock, and the two are one of the show’s success stories in the way in which Juan Pablo and Nikki currently are not. Who knows? Maybe it’s possible that they could defy the odds and get married; but the difference here is that nobody is really rooting for them.
