‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: Aaron Paul discussing joining in some capacity

Better Call Saul season 1How badly do you want to see Jesse Pinkman shouting a certain b-word on another AMC show? Luckily, it feels like you could be seeing that soon enough of “Better Call Saul,” if at least some of the parties involved have their way.

Speaking in a new interview with the Associated Press in promotion of his upcoming movie “Need For Speed,” Aaron Paul (a.k.a. one of the coolest people alive) had the following to say on the subject of his possible return to the show that made him an Emmy winner and also a household star:

“I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it’s all a prequel — it would be fun.”

Personally, we feel like a little bit of Jesse could go a long way here. We’re not sure that we’d want to see too much Jesse in the prequel to the point where it started to mess with the greatness of his story in “Breaking Bad,” and that would make some sporadic appearances from him all the more special. Also, we want “Better Call Saul” to be its own show, and we know already that both Bob Odenkirk (Saul) and Jonathan Banks (Mike) are set to each be series regulars.

The one thing to us that is interesting about Paul’s comments is his statement of this being “all a prequel,” which is somewhat in contrast about previous rumors saying that there could be a little bit of present / future scenes mixed in here.
