‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: ‘Person of Interest’s’ Paige Turco off to ‘New Orleans’

More news -While we may not know the state of the potential “NCIS: New Orleans” project for a while, we do have a new casting to report from the two-part backdoor pilot, which will air on “NCIS” season 11 a little bit later on in the spring.

Paige Turco, whose credits include “Person of Interest” along with a gig on the upcoming CW drama “The 100,” is set to guest star in at least one of these two episodes as Linda, the wife of the leading man in Agent Pride (Scott Bakula). She will be listed as a guest star for this story, and should the “New Orleans” project be picked up to series, she could potentially recur.

The one thing we want to do is assure you that this casting does not in any way guarantee a lack of faith in “The 100,” or suggest that her character does not make it out alive. This is not her signing on for a new series regular gig as much as it is keeping her options open. If “The 100” doesn’t work out she immediately has another new series that she can be a part of in some capacity and she isn’t out of a job.

While this pilot is not a guarantee to be picked up (just remember what happened to the last backdoor pilot in the franchise), we’re feeling good about it given that you have Bakula as a lead, and Mark Harmon as an executive producer. The only thing that we would be curious to know is where CBS wanted to put the series. You could try it out on Sunday nights if you wanted, or move it into the “NCIS: Los Angeles” spot and move that show to Fridays, where it could be a formidable addition to a lineup that is much-improved.
