‘True Blood’ season 7 notes: Latest on Alexander Skarsgard, Joe Manganiello, more
With the “True Blood” production underway now for the seventh and final season, most of the actors are firmly camped out in Los Angeles and working a variety of crazy hours just working to get things done.
However, some of them are at least finding some time to do some little assorted things here and there, and that is the focus of this article: To give you some of the highlights from the cast’s this past week out and about. Of course, when there is some more scoop to share regarding what is actually coming up on the show story-wise, we will of course let you know.
1. Joe Manganiello gets his presenting on – Early this month, America’s favorite dude named Alcide (which may be easy, since there aren’t many others out there) made a variety of various appearances. He has presented for the Writers Guild Awards, the Art Directors Guild Awards, and he of course went on “@midnight” recently for a fun segment about a wolf-themed t-shirt.
2. Alexander Skarsgard – Since the news broke of Skarsgard’s casting as Tarzan in an upcoming film, he has been spotted in a few different places, including a Los Angeles Lakers game. But the more interesting news somewhat-related to Alex is the revelation that Ellen Page, who was at one point rumored to be his girlfriend, has officially come out as gay. Does this mean that most of that talk was just a creation of the press? (It is interesting to go back at most of the photos that they were spotted in together, and the majority of them are platonic and blown out of proportion by the media at the time.)
3. Carrie Preston at New York Fashion Week – You can get some photos of Carrie over at True-Blood.net, where she was in attendance at the Tadashi Shoji fashion show. Carrie is a frequent traveler thanks to the show, and thanks to the location of her husband Michael Emerson filming “Person of Interest.”
