Is “Castle” coming up on one of its biggest mysteries to date? Maybe so, at least if you love the idea of watching disembodied heads on video screens.
The show’s upcoming episode airing on Monday, February 24 is entitled “Room 147,” and if some of the details that we had already posted were not already a sign to you, this is one episode that definitely has some strange things going on. The show has been mostly ambiguous so far on what the real story is, save for a few details: Castle and Beckett receive a confession from someone for a murder, but they realize not long after that this person couldn’t have possibly been the killer. Unfortunately, almost immediately after that, the situation rises again.
The mystery that is really centered around this one for Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters is all about identity. Who is behind this, and why are other people confessing for things they didn’t do? It is the bizarre premise for this one that makes us wonder whether or not this episode could be tied to either Senator Bracken or 3XK, believed by us to be the two most-notable villains out there with the show. For the time being, creator Andrew Marlowe has not said anything yet about when you will see these two again; heck, it has never been confirmed that 3KX is even still alive.
This episode is the first one that will air after the Olympics, and will come a week after what should be a pretty fun episode themed around possible supernatural occurrences. (It also happens to be a tribute of sorts to “Carrie.”)
