‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Jay Ryan and a tracking mission
Is another beast getting close to welcoming themselves into the “Beauty and the Beast” fold? While we don’t quite think “welcome” is the right word, next week’s new episode “Redemption” is looking like it could be a pretty important hour for the mythology of the show.
Vincent is going to end up having to embark on what is a tracking / rescue mission for who appears to be another beast, and this is suddenly going to envelop most of his time. Just to make matters worse, Jay Ryan’s character is also going to be forced to encounter a great sense of regret for so many reasons. Not only is he having to see his ex-girlfriend with Gabe, but the other problem is that he will be looking at a part of his past that could have been his future … at least if Muirfield had never gotten involved in anything.
Before you do anything else (including watching the promo below), take a look now at the full synopsis for the hour:
“When some of Gabe’s (Sendhil Ramamurthy) acquaintances go missing, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) must come together to save them. Vincent ends up returning to the hospital where he was an intern, allowing him to see what his life could have been.”
Sound interesting? If nothing else, it feels like this episode is for sure going to be a crazy one. It better be, since we are getting near the hiatus for the show now, and the producers have to make sure that they leave you on a good note.

From the look of things, Vincent and Cat are not getting back together any time soon. Their love has been tested couple of times, and even though Cat on her own part has fought for their love, Vincent has been the selfish one on this show. So technically i will love the producers to create a platform whereby Catherine will be the center of the attraction in a situation where she doesn’t give a rat ass about Vincent for sometime, dedicating herself to through happiness of dating other men apart from Gabe. That will put Vincent on an edge! And at the finale, Lets see that Catherine’s mother did not only kept the secret of Muirfield from Cat but she has a big SURPRISE for Cat that will make her to question her true origin of her birth and the circumstances surrounding it.
