Super Bowl commercials: See Minka Kelley, Arnold Schwarzenegger, more in Bud Light spot

We don’t know whether or not Bud Light is just going to tell its story of ordinary man Ian Rappaport over the course of Super Bowl Sunday, or if they are going to condense the rather extensive ad below; either way, the beverage company has yet again went all out to create a commercial that features everything but the kitchen sink. You have the likes of Reggie Watts, Don Cheadle, Minka Kelly, OneRepublic, and Arnold Schwarzenegger all appear over the course of a four-minute ride that seems to be mostly themed around the fact that “anything can happen” over the course of the night.

When it comes to an artistic point of view, this is certainly one of the more ambitious ads that this brand has put out there for big games, given that most of the time, we have come to know them more for burps, fart jokes, and women in little clothing. This is appealing maybe to a slightly older demographic, but one who does not want to spend a tone of money on more upscale beverages.

While not everyone wants to watch a beer spot just because of your opinion on the product, the reality here is that they really go hand-in-hand with the Super Bowl at this point. Everyone knows that they are coming, so if you’re not someone who enjoys them, odds are that you are better off just muting the screen for a few seconds.
