‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9 spoilers: More on Rachel Bilson, 200th episode

Are you getting ready for the 200th episode of “How I Met Your Mother”? You may still have a little ways to wait until January 27 rolls around, but this is an episode that, per all estimations, is going to be worth the wait. The buzz is strong around “How Your Mother Met Me,” which is going to feature the still-untitled character from Cristin Milioti front and center. You’ll see what her life was like, and how she ended up in Farhampton waiting for her chance at love.

Oh, and it also makes sense that this would be the episode that would feature the return of Rachel Bilson as Cindy, The Mother’s former roommate who also previously was in a relationship with Ted. You can see at least a little bit more here of what to expect courtesy of the synopsis below:

“On the 200th episode, The Mother recounts how she met Ted and what she’s been up to for the past eight years, on the final season of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, Jan. 27 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rachel Bilson returns as Cindy.”

By the end of this episode, we certainly do not expect that Ted will have actually met The Mother … though surprises can happen. We more believe that this will just feature the story of how she got into a place to meet him, and it should be very entertaining to watch.

The show creators proclaimed earlier this week that Monday night’s “Unpause” will be the episode that provides you with the names of the children, and that is yet another loose end that needs to be tied up. Some of the other loose ends include Ted’s feelings for Robin, that elusive final slap, and also whether or not Marshall and Lily are going to move to Rome at the end of the day for a year.
