‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ 2014: See Miley Cyrus, Billy Joel, Robin Thicke, more performers

There are a number of different New Year’s Eve specials that you could decide to check out on December 31, but if you are looking for the one that probably has the biggest impact on pop culture, you’re not going to have to look any further than “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” This event, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy, is the most-watched event of the night by a mile. It boasts the biggest stars, features the ball dropping from Times Square, and promises to be a night of great fun and retrospective about some of the best moments of 2013.

So who can you expect to see make an appearance? This is where we’ll share the official performance lineup. In addition to the two aforementioned hosts and Fergie on the West Coast, you have people such as Icona Pop, Robin Thicke (performing from Los Angeles), Blondie, Fall Out Boy, Billy Joel, Miley Cyrus, and more stepping to the stage. For those curious, Miley is going to be one of the last people to perform at around 11:40 p.m. Eastern, at least prior to the ball dropping in Times Square. Joel is actually performing from the Barclays Center minutes after the drop happens.

While some specials on the New Year’s Eve night are going to end at midnight, you can expect this party to keep rocking a little bit longer. Since the Central Time Zone feed is not delayed, you can stick around to get some more fun for everyone in Chicago, Austin, Oklahoma City, or the other great places across America.

There is also the possibility of a few surprises happening here and there, which is why we will be taking a close watch on the entire show tonight to see if anything unfolds. Be sure to come back for some more coverage.
